Prospect generator
Your next prospecting list, in three filters.
One activity code, one area, one headcount bracket. Lea queries the official French company register and fills your pool, with no overlap with what you already have.

Stop buying lists you already own.
A purchased prospecting file arrives frozen, often out of date, and overlaps a good share of your database. Lea queries the public register of French companies directly, at the moment you need it, and automatically sets aside the companies already in your CRM.
How it works
The preview is free on every plan. You know what you are getting before you generate anything.
You describe your target
Type a trade in plain language, “plumber” or “accountant”, and Lea finds the matching NAF activity codes.
You see the volume live
The counter updates with every filter, along with three example companies. Free, whatever your plan.
You generate the list
Up to 500 companies per run, in the background. You are notified when it finishes.
Duplicates are set aside
Any company already in your address book or your pool is skipped, and Lea tells you how many.
The targeting
Three axes, combinable.
Enough to carve out a market, few enough to be usable in thirty seconds.
- 732 NAF activity codes, searchable by code, by official label, or in plain trade language.
- 18 regions, 101 départements, or a list of postcodes.
- Six headcount brackets, from zero employees to over 500.
- Administratively active companies only.
- French companies only, mainland France and overseas départements. The generator relies on the official French register: it covers no other country.
The preview
The counter is free, even without a subscription.
Before you generate anything, you see how many companies match your filters. This preview is open on every plan, including during the trial: you can size your market without paying a thing.
- The exact number of companies matching your filters.
- Three example legal names, so you can check the targeting is right.
- A warning if your selection exceeds what a single run can bring back.
No duplicates
What you already have does not come back.
Before every run, Lea compares by SIREN number against the organizations in your address book and the leads already in your pool. Known companies are set aside, and you are shown the count.
- Matching on the SIREN, the legal identifier, not on the company name.
- Both your address book and your lead pool are checked.
- A run restarted after an error does not create duplicates.
- Worth knowing: a company entered by hand without a SIREN cannot be recognised.
What you get, and what you do not
The public company register is rich in company data and silent on contact details. Better said here than discovered later.
Legal name and SIREN
The company's legal identity, which also serves as the deduplication key.
Full address
Head office address, postcode and city.
Activity and size
NAF code with its label, headcount bracket, legal form and year of incorporation.
Director's name, when published
Lea picks up the individual director when they appear in the national business register. This is not systematic.
What the public register does not provide
- No email address.
- No phone number.
- No job title or named contact details for an individual.
On every generated record, Lea shows a shortcut to the company's official register entry and to a pre-filled web search, to help you find the right person. It is a helping hand, not automatic enrichment: the qualification work stays yours.
Prospecting is still regulated
The company data Lea retrieves comes from the French national statistics office's public register. Its availability does not release you from your obligations when you use it to prospect.
- A director's name is personal data, even when published as open data. You become the data controller the moment you use it.
- Telephone prospecting in France is subject to the opt-out register: Bloctel must be honoured for any numbers you source elsewhere.
- Anyone you approach may request access to their data, its correction, or its deletion.
- A generated list is not meant to be kept indefinitely: purge what you do not use.
Lea gives you the tool and a record of where the data came from, not legal cover. If you have any doubt about your intended use, have it reviewed.
Preview for everyone, generation on Pro and Business
The counter and the examples are available on every plan, with no role restriction. Generation, which actually fills your lead pool, is reserved for the Pro and Business plans.
